Hi my name is Rebecca and this is where I will display my work. I hope you find my page interesting!!!! In our group we get to choose activites. I choose SHHHH!!!!! I'm reading. The book I am reading is called Bluestar's Prophecy.
The book I am reading is called Bluestar's prophecy. This is a super edition to the warrior cats series by Erin hunter.
My goal was to read aloud more clearly. When I heard we were doing Fotobabbles I knew it was a good chance to complete my goal and I did.
How effective was this learning tool?
At first I had some trouble recording with the micophone because I was using computers with out sound. Eventually I figured this out and fixed it. When I did get to record I had some issues speaking into the micophone. I learnt to record on a microphone the computer needs to have sound.

This activity was great fun.

I love this book because you feel as if you are there watching what is happening through the character's eyes. You put yourself in Bluestar's shoes feeling her pain, grief, love and happiness and it makes you feel as if you are that character.

Reflection
I learnt alot about reading and Bluestar in this book. I learnt how to look into a character's mind. I found
that I could understand how she was feeling and why she did what she did and why she made painful choices.
I really enjoyed this activity.
I have put 'Bluestar's Prophecy' back on my book shelf and have started a book called
'The Ivory Rose'

What did you enjoy most about this task?
I really enjoyed working together with my friends to make our quiz. Learning to make a quiz
and creating questions was also fun.
What was your biggest challenge?
Constructing the questions with multi choice anwers.
Evaluating quiz websites and choosing one.
Which skill did you find the most useful?
Using my memory to remember how to embed HTML codes.

Tagxedo I have been trying out a new website called Tagxedo. This is one I did on the Hunger Games. I also did another one.

Book Trailer Task
Your task is to create an eye-catching Book Trailer that will promote your book to other students. Use images, video, animation, music and words to create your book trailer. Try to use copyright friendly sources. Your presentation should be between 30 seconds and 2 minutes.
GOAL : To recognise and interpret the main themes of a story by creating a short book trailer which promotes the book.
Reflection
What did you enjoy most about this task?
The thing that I enjoyed most about this task was being able to put slides, sounds and pictures on the slides how you wanted it and you could use your imagination to make the movie flow smoothly.
What was your biggest challenge?
The biggest challenge was finding copy-right free images that were free to use. Once we forgot to search free-to-use pictures while searching. When we went back to the same website remembering about the free-to-use check and it wasn't there so we couldn't use it.
What skills did you learn during this task?
To do the bibliography while we searched for images, music and information because we wasted time going back and finding the pictures on the website for the bibliography.
